Came in 6/4/25 to have an issue fixed with the lights on the steps. That was the third visit to the service department in a truck with less than 3,000 miles on it. They didn’t listen to what the issue was and called after the truck had been there for an hour telling me the lights work on the running boards. They had been told multiple times that they work but flash on and go right back off. Go back to pick it up and when I asked the guy at the service desk if the issue was fixed, he said “we replaced the part but just keep a check on it and let us know”. I should have known that meant they didn’t know if it was fixed or not. We made it a mile down the road and a light came on the dash that was not there when it was dropped off. Turn around and take it right back. Our salesman gets us a vehicle to drive 45 minutes home so we didn’t have to stay there any longer. They call later in the day and say there was a short in the wiring harness for the front camera and are having the part overnighted. They finish the repairs on 6/6 and deliver the truck to my home saying everything is fixed. The light is no longer on the dash but the lights on the steps still flash. However they do stay on this time. But only the lights on the front half of the steps work. So that means they didn’t even check to make sure the lights were working before they delivered the vehicle. I was told to have it there on Monday 6/16 at 1:30 for it to be looked at AGAIN. For the FOURTH TIME!!!! A 2025!!!!!! I use this truck for pulling and I cannot be without it. This is the most unprofessional, inefficient, and negligent service department I have ever dealt with. I trade vehicles regularly and as of right now this service department alone has caused me to look for a new dealership to do business with.

I was scheduled for an oil change but on the way to the shop my check engine light came on. When got to dealership I told the young man that waited on me. And he said they would try to check it out but it may be after lunch. So they found the problem and got it fixed before I left town. I drive about 85 miles to the dealer ship. So it saved me another trip to CULLMAN.

I bought a brand new 2025 GMC SIERRA DENALI ULTIMATE on July 5th, 2025. Chris Logan was the sales representative and he failed to mention the vehicle only had one key. I did not find out until July 8th, 2025 the truck was delivered to me in Montgomery, Alabama and the delivery driver told me that there was only one key to the vehicle. Chris Logan later reached out to me about the second original key basically saying that the key was in the mail and that he would overnight it to me when he received it. Chris Logan then informed me on July 11th 2025, that the key was lost in the mail. It seems that it has been left up to me to rectify this situation which I am not pleased with. There is obviously a second original key to my vehicle lost and I am not able to feel secure in this purchase knowing someone else is able to steal the car by bypassing all of the security features because they have the second original key fob to my vehicle.

I was there Friday. Was supposed to get my new truck Saturday. Didn't happen. Then I was supposed to get ot Monday. Didn't happen. Now I'm supposed to get it today. It's 3:00 pm. Haven't seen it yet. I have not had a good experience with this part of it. I signed the papers Monday because it was supposed to come Monday. The salesman was nice and idk really what's happening behind the scenes but I'm ready to have my brand new truck in my driveway. Probly will never go back the there to buy again.

Dealership experience through search process was good. Salesman was very responsive. As soon as papers were signed, however not the best experience after that. Salesman didn’t walk me through setting up GMC app, etc. I sat in the parking lot and did it all myself which is fine. I figured it out. However, the next day, I was in Atlanta and while I was inside an event, the salesman registered me, which I had already done and it wiped out all my settings and registration and made me start over from scratch…at 10:30 pm in Atlanta while trying to get to my hotel. I was not happy with the experience from the moment I signed my papers forward obviously

Still on the fence. My vehicle is missing some components, such as the owners manual, floor mats, in the grab bar in the back of the bed. The dealer took care of the mats, and we are still waiting on the others. This vehicle was a transfer, which I did not know about until I had already agreed to the deal, it appears my vehicle was pillaged and I’m very unhappy about that. GMC Acadia was at dealership for one month due to part issues on radiator/hoses/fittings. First part failed after it was installed not sure if GM did a redesign on second replacement part, sure hope so, dealer was not sure. This car is barely a year old with 18,000 miles. Second issue was brake wear indicator on front pads read 18%, was told it had been reset to more accurate setting, when leaving noticed it still read 18% went back in told advisor, he took it back in and said it would be rechecked, waited about 45 minutes was told it had been recalibrated so it would give correct reading, car still had 18%, advisor said maybe it would have to be driven some to reset. Just drove from dealership to my home about one hour approx 60 miles, still has 18% on front pads indicator. Very frustrating.

I scheduled on-line, and when I arrived, I wasn’t on the schedule. I offered to reschedule but the service representative said he could see that I had done the on-line appointment. He graciously said there was one ahead of me and they would begin the service upon completion. I was there less than 2 hours total time for oil change/ tire rotation/ change front wiper blades/ address recall of fuel pump modulator. They saw that the air cabin filter and motor filter needed to be changed as well, and asked permission before completion. There was a complete lack of communication. I dropped off my vehicle on Thursday 1/15/26 and I was the one who had to call to follow up. It was the following Wednesday 1/21/26 before I received the first phone call from the dealership. Mind you, I had called at the end of the day every day between these dates to check status. I had to call GM Corporate to get a case number assigned since it was due to the L87 recall. They were the ones who told me that parts had been ordered. They are the ones who told me the parts shipped. They were the ones who told me the parts had arrived. They are the ones who gave me the information pertaining to rental car reimbursement. On Friday 1/23/26 I received a call from the dealership informing me that they finally had a loaner vehicle for me. Finally, on Friday 2/6/26, after two weeks of no communication I was at the point of complete frustration. I was going to call that afternoon at 400pm when I got off work to check status, but I did receive a call from the dealership at 1030am informing me that my vehicle was done and ready for pickup. That was great news. They had my vehicle repaired and ready for me in three weeks, which is much better than the 4-6 weeks I was told initially. My biggest complaint is the flat out lack of communication. I don't care if there is no current update. At least give me courtesy call to tell me so. "Hey, just wanted to keep you in the loop, we ordered parts, they came in, we are not sure when it will be ready." Simple customer service. Especially when this was not caused by anything done on our end. 0 stars for communication. 5 stars for service turnaround time.

Bill Smith has always delivered the best service I've experienced; I've purchased 6 - 8 trucks and Yukon's from them over the last 15+ years and they are by far the best at what they do, so much so that I will not try or go to another vehicle brand because of the level of service I get from Bill Smith. The only complaint I have is that they don't sale Corvette, if they did, I know I'd be able to get a ZR1 or ZR1x spec'd and on order.

Everyone was wonderful and 2 of the 3 things I needed fixed were addressed. I explained I have had tons of oil leaking in my driveway along with a burning sound. My Yukon had gotten so low there was no oil on the dipstick and I went to express oil change to get it changed out…no one saw any leaks. I explained when making an appt and when I got there that it had been leaking for weeeks and then I got an oil change, but I needed to make sure it no longer happened. I had some fraying belts the express oil techs told me to replace. When I can for my appt with you guys I explained all of my problems, and the timeline. However they sent me out without addressing the oil issue and blamed it on the express people while I explained it had been doing it prior to an oil change. They said they didn’t have time to fix it that day, would require them to add dye to find a leak. So now I have to come back again for an appt when that is part of the whole reason I came in to begin with. Wonderful service that day and they did fix my belt, but frustrating the oil leak was ignored and I have to miss another day of work to come back.
